Resolved Question: Is the former site of Ebbets Field a safe area?

I'm planning to visit New York in a few years and although I grew up as an LA Dodgers fan, I never deny the fact that my team came from New York...specifically Brooklyn, which after doing some research, is a working-class blue-collar neighborhood, which is somewhat like Los Angeles. I was hoping to see the former site of Ebbets Field, which is now an apartment complex. Is this a very safe area, or is it very much crime-ridden?... read more
